Open Space Practice
Elliot Stanwick Therapeutics operates out of Kitchener-Waterloo Gymnastics Club as an open space practice. All treatments are performed through clothing with no draping options available. While all information will remain strictly confidential, the treatment space is located in the gymnastics area and is not isolated.
Elliot Stanwick, R.M.T.
Elliot Stanwick is a Registered Massage Therapist and High Honours graduate of the Centennial College Massage Therapy program. He treats general, orthopaedic, and sport-related injuries, and provides preventative healthcare to healthy individuals and athletes.
Having been a National level gymnast, coaching gymnastics for over 15 years, and coaching and treating athletes from a wide range of sports at varying levels of competition, Elliot understands the many demands placed on the athlete, and how to maintain a healthy body throughout the athletic experience.
Elliot employs a variety of treatment techniques such as: general Swedish massage, joint mobilizations, trigger point therapy, superficial and deep fascial techniques, lymphatic drainage, PNF and passive stretching, specific muscle and movement strengthening, among others. He uses orthopaedic assessment, remedial exercise, and knowledge of anatomy and physiology to create personalized treatment plans for optimal results.
